From Idea to Launch: The Making of Global Radio Hub

The Idea: The World in Sound

The idea was simple: what if we could make it effortless to listen to any radio station, from anywhere in the world? We wanted to build a platform that was more than just a player; we wanted it to be a tool for cultural discovery. We call it "The World in Sound."

The Technology

Global Radio Hub is built on a modern, fast, and reliable tech stack. We use Next.js for the frontend, which allows for a snappy user experience. For our vast station directory, we rely on the amazing community-driven Radio Browser API, which indexes tens of thousands of stations.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the power of open access to information and culture. Radio is a fundamentally open medium, and our goal is to honor that legacy. This project is a labor of love from a small team of developers and designers who are passionate about music and technology.
